December 1917 Casualties

There were no casualties that resulted in death due to action, wounds, or illness.

The Battalion started its service in the Acheville Sector in support at the beginning of the month and was in the front lines as of December 3, 1917. They were active with wiring parties in the front line. A group of 50 men arrived as reinforcements on December 6, 1917. One man was wounded on that date. Four days later the Battalion was in the support area of their sector after being relieved by the 19th Battalion.

On December 11, 1918 there was a significant event. The men were voting in the election and the voting was supervised by Captain C.P. Laing. The voting extended into the next day.

December found the Battalion moved to a rest area at Febvin-Palfavl via motor lorries.

The Battalion was able to experience Christmas at the rest camp and not have to be in active service for this Christmas.
