He lived in Dresden, Kent, Ontario, Canada in 191 and Bothwell, Chatham-Kent, Ontario, Canada in 1901. He registered for military service in 1915. In 1915, at the age of 27, his occupation is listed as farmer. He died in 1966, in Kent, Ontario, Canada, at the age of 78, and was buried in Blackburn Union Burial Grounds, Dresden, Chatham-Kent, Ontario, Canada.
