He registered for military service in 1916. In 1916, at the age of 22, his occupation is listed as a guard in Toronto, York, Ontario, Canada. He died on 22 February 1958, in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, at the age of 63, and was buried in York Cemetery, Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
