David M. Clarke
David McNally Clarke, 74, of 23 Pearl St. W., Kingsville, a retired Department of Highways employee, died Tuesday at his residence after a short illness.
A World War I veteran, Mr. Clarke had served with the 186th Battalion, C.E.F., and the 18th Battalion. He was born in Toronto and had lived in Kingsville 42 years.
He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 188, and the 18th Battalion Association of Windsor.
Surviving are his widow, the former Hattie Kratz; one daughter, Mary, of Kingsville; two siters, Mrs. Bertha Hess, Detroit, and Mrs. Lily Trudgon, Ridgetown.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at the John B. Ferguson Funeral Home, Kingsville, with Rev. Morley G. Clarke and Rev. Andrew Morgan officiating.
Legion services will be held Wednesday at 8 p.m.
Burial will be in Greenhill Cemetery.
