Find-A-Grave

“He was the son of James Alexander Blue and Rachel Matilda Huffman. He married Pearl Ernestine Winship at Vancouver, Washington, on July 3, 1943.

He served with the CEF (Canadian Over-Seas Expeditionary Force), 18th Battalion, during World War I. In his Attestation Paper, he stated that he was born at Campbellford, Northumberland County, Ontario, Canada, on September 27, 1896. Other documents give differing years of birth, and they also consistently indicate that he was born in Missouri, not Canada.” Source: Find-A-Grave.

Note that he also claims on one marriage certificate to be born at Galveston, Texas.
