Family Search: When Chester Meldrum Culbert was born on 4 September 1890, in Wingham, Huron, Ontario, Canada, his father, Samuel Culbert, was 28 and his mother, Rachel Mcleod, was 22. He lived in Lambton, Ontario, Canada in 1901 and Bruce, Ontario, Canada in 1911. He registered for military service in 1915. In 1915, at the age of 25, his occupation is listed as labourer. He died on 3 December 1947, at the age of 57, and was buried in Bayview Cemetery, Wiarton, Bruce, Ontario, Canada.
