Family Search: Private Joseph Kornowski was born on 6 May 1893, in Poland as the son of Piort Kornowski. He immigrated to Canada in 1913 and lived in Chicago, Cook, Illinois, United States in 1919. He registered for military service in 1914. In 1914, at the age of 21, his occupation is listed as hospital orderly. He died on 30 September 1920, in Saint John, St. John, New Brunswick, Canada, at the age of 27, and was buried in Saint Josephs Cemetery, Saint John, St. John, New Brunswick, Canada.
