Son of Leon Alexandre Pierre, of 17, High St., West Tarring, Worthing, England, and the late Mary Elizabeth Pierre. Killed during the Battle of Flers-Courcelette where British tanks were first used. He stated he had previous service with the 19th (6 months) Medal collector has his Memorial Cross, other medals missing.
