Family Search: Private Andrew Reid was born on 1 November 1897, in Dublin, Ireland, as the son of Edward Reid. He married Jessie Edna Ramsey on 14 April 1945, in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. They were the parents of at least 1 daughter. He immigrated to Sweet Grass, Montana, United States, in 1942 and lived in Brant, Ontario, Canada in 1911 and Hespeler, Waterloo, Ontario, Canada, in 1922. He registered for military service in 1916. In 1942, at the age of 45, his occupation is listed as plasterer in the United States. He died on 19 August 1979, in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, at the age of 81, and was buried in North Vancouver Cemetery, North Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.
