Family Search: Private George Edward Dewse was born on 22 April 1888, in Wilmslow, Cheshire, England, United Kingdom as the son of William Dewse. He immigrated to Canada in 1913. He registered for military service in 1914. In 1914, at the age of 26, his occupation is listed as clerk. He died on 7 January 1947, in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, at the age of 58, and was buried in Prospect Cemetery, Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
This man attested, saying he was born in 1888. He was actually born in 1883.
