Alfred John Blackburn
CHATHAM, April 26.—Funeral services for Alfred John Blackburn of 108 Taylor avenue who died Tuesday in Westminster Hospital, London, will be held at the Needham Memorial Chapel Friday at 2 p.m. Rev. Hugh Stewart will officiate and burial will be in Maple Leaf Cemetery.
Mr. Blackburn was born in Chatham 50 years ago, son of the late Joseph Blackburn and Annie Corbin. He served in World War I with the 186th Battalion. For the past few years Mr. Blackburn was engaged in farming. He was a member of William Street Baptist Church.
Besides his wife he is survived by three sisters, Helen and Ann and Mrs. V. D. Barry, all of Detroit; four brothers, Harry, Joseph and Wilfred, all of this city, and Robert of Windsor.
