He registered for military service in 1917. In 1917, at the age of 22, his occupation is listed as chauffeur in Tilbury, Kent, Ontario, Canada. He died on 27 July 1984, in Pinellas, Florida, United States, at the age of 88, and was buried in Memorial Park Cemetery, Saint Petersburg, Pinellas, Florida, United States.
