Family Search: Sergeant John MacDougall was born on 3 May 1885, in Greenock, Renfrewshire, Scotland, United Kingdom as the son of McDougall. He immigrated to Canada in 1913. He registered for military service in 1914. He died on 20 April 1916, in Ieper, West Flanders, Belgium, at the age of 30, and was buried in Dikkebus, Ieper, West Flanders, Belgium.
