CHILD ZERFING Miss Marjorie Ann Zerfing, 135 East Market street and First Lieut. John Herbert Child, Guelph, Ontario, Canada, were married at 4 p. m., yesterday in the First Presbyterian church. Rev. Dr. Thomas S. Dickson, pastor of that church, performed the ceremony. Immediate members of the two families were present. Mr. and Mrs. Carl H. Zerfing, brother and sister-in-law of the bride, were the attendants. Following the ceremony the couple left for a few days in New York, after which Lieut. Child will rejoin the Tenth regiment. Canadian Infantry at Epperwash, Canada. The bridegroom is a son of Mrs. Elizabeth Child, director of the Y. W. C. A. cafeteria, and is a graduate of Ontario Agricultural college. The bride is a daughter of Mrs. Annie V. Zerfing, Dun-cannon, and the late Alvin Q. Zerfing. She is a graduate of Dun-cannon High school, Berkley School of New York, and Steno-type Institute of LaSalle University. She is employed as secretary in the district attorney’s office.
