This man enlisted with the 124th Battalion on December 31, 1915, at Toronto, Ontario. Going overseas, he was transferred to the 18th Battalion on October 10, 1916. He served with the Battalion until August 18, 1917. Recovering from his wounds he returned to the Battalion on April 12, 1918, and was then wounded June 1, 1918. Returning to England to recuperate he served in England until discharged.
