Family Search: Sergeant Thomas Davies was born on 15 July 1891, in Wattstown, Glamorgan, Wales, United Kingdom, as the son of Thomas Davies and Jean Davies. He had at least 1 son and 1 daughter with Mary Ethel Pearl Russell. He immigrated to Canada in 1913 and lived in London, Ontario, Canada for about 41 years. He registered for military service in 1914. In 1914, at the age of 23, his occupation is listed as labourer. He died on 31 December 1962, in Ontario, Canada, at the age of 71, and was buried in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, London, Ontario, Canada.

WILLIAM DEWAR – The funeral of William Dewar, who died Thursday at Westminster Hospital in his 46th year, was held at 2.30 o’clock this afternoon from the Harrison & Skinner funeral home. Major the Rev. Dr. William Beattie conducted the service, assisted by Re. Dr. C.V. McLean, pastor of Dundas Centre United Church. The pallbearers were: Robert Bell, Thomas Davies, William Waite and George Cruickshanks. Interment was made in Woodland Cemetery.
