Pallbearer at my Grandfather’s funeral.

WILLIAM DEWAR – The funeral of William Dewar, who died Thursday at Westminster Hospital in his 46th year, was held at 2.30 o’clock this afternoon from the Harrison & Skinner funeral home. Major the Rev. Dr. William Beattie conducted the service, assisted by Re. Dr. C.V. McLean, pastor of Dundas Centre United Church. The pallbearers were: Robert Bell, Thomas Davies, William Waite and George Cruickshanks. Interment was made in Woodland Cemetery.

Interesting service record. Awarded a Good Conduct Badge, then loses lance stripes and then 2 months later re-appointed Lance Corporal.
