PTE. GEORGE NOAKES ILL.

Pte. George Noakes, 1014 Shaw street, is reported dangerously ill. He was wounded by gunshot and suffered from shell shock on Aug. 15, and removed to England in September and reported to be doing well. On Monday his mother received a cablegram saying he was dangerously ill. He was wounded last May, but recovered and returned to the trenches. His father and two brothers are at the front. The family came to Canada five years ago from Reading, England.
