He married Hazel Mae Fryer on 17 September 1923, in Detroit, Wayne, Michigan, United States. They were the parents of at least 1 daughter. He registered for military service in 1916. In 1916, at the age of 22, his occupation is listed as printer. He died on 4 October 1955, at the age of 60.
