He died on 27 April 1956, in St. Catharines, Niagara, Ontario, Canada, at the age of 67, and was buried in Victoria Lawn Cemetery, Downtown St. Catharines, St. Catharines, Niagara, Ontario, Canada.
Wounded in action January 31st, 1916 by a gun shot wound to right hand which led to a permanent disability. Died April 27, 1956.
