Enlisted Galt 13-12-15 (age 18 years). Transferred from 111th Battalion to 153rd Battalion 23-9-16. Found as a Stowaway aboard SS Tuscania with 111th Battalion 13-10-16. Taken on Strength 18th Battalion 9-12-17. Shrapnel wounds to left side and head 5-6-18. Returned to unit 8-6-18. Applied for discharge in England, 28-5-19. Demobilized London, England 28-6-19. Returned on his own 17-7-20 aboard SS Caronia, Halifax, N.S. Ontario Death Records, died 1-6-32, acute bacterial endocorditis, contributing factor carcinoma of pancreas.
