Family Search: Charles Henry Thompson was born on 17 December 1888, in England, United Kingdom as the son of Charles Thompson and Susan Helling. He married Lucy Lanning Barter on 10 April 1912, in York, Ontario, Canada. He immigrated to Canada in 1913 and lived in Fordwich, Howick, Huron, Ontario, Canada in 1914 and Harriston, Minto, Wellington, Ontario, Canada in 1921. He registered for military service in 1914. In 1914, at the age of 26, his occupation is listed as section foreman. He died on 22 May 1966, at the age of 77, and was buried in Brampton Cemetery, Brampton, Peel, Ontario, Canada.
