Under age. Served and then his age was discovered.
Served with the 18th Battalion from October 22, 1916, until wounded on March 13, 1917. He returned to the Canadian Base Depot in Etaples in Maym 1917, after recovering from wounds and detained there for being suspected of being under-age. Returned to Canada by December 26, 1917.
