400570 Cpl. D. Graham, 18th Bn. Can. Infy.
During an attack in front of Vis-en-Artois on the 28th August 1918, his platoon was held up by the direct fire of a machine gun. Private Graham Crawled forward with a Lewis gun for a distance of 100 yards under intense fire and succeeded in killing the crew and putting the gun out of action. His gallant and determined action saved many casualties, and his platoon was able to advance.
