Little West River

Corporal Elie Beaudin, whose photograph we are publishing opposite, was killed at the front by a machine-gun bullet, after having fought for thirteen months in the famous 22nd French-Canadian battalion. He was the son of Mr. Francois Beaudin, of Petite Riviere Ouest. LL was only 26 years old and met a heroic death fighting nobly for justice and freedom.

He leaves to mourn him, five brothers: MMP-Z. Beaudin, undertaker: Arthur, farmer; Francois of Dawson, Delard and Wilfred of Montreal; three workers: Mrs. H. Beaudin, (Lamina). Mrs. Barnard LeJeune (Henedine), and Mrs. Simon Molley (Marie-Louise).

Our condolences to the members of his family.
