He immigrated to Vermont, United States in 1920 and lived in Scarborough, Toronto, Ontario, Canada in 1931. He registered for military service in 1915. In 1915, at the age of 19, his occupation is listed as clerk. He died on 25 August 1971, in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, at the age of 75, and was buried in Pine Hills Cemetery, Scarborough, Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
