Sergt. E. Adams Killed
Sergt. Edwards, 498 Gladstone avenue, is reported killed in action on August 8. Sergt. Adams, who is the son of Mr. Richard Adams, went overseas with a Toronto Battalion, and have been in France since June, 1916. He was 26 years of age and a carpenter by trade.

Killed by enemy shell fire, whilst taking part with his battalion, in the attack on MARCELCAVE. Several large pieces of Shrapnel penetrating his body.
