PTE. GEORGE THOM
News has been received by Mr. Mennie, 218 Albany avenue, that Pte. George Thom was killed in action August 26th [16th]. He enlisted in January last year when 31 years of age, and before joining was employed as a teamster. He is unmarried and his sister lives in Banff, Scotland.
