He married Mildred Preedy on 4 October 1920, in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. They were the parents of at least 2 daughters. He lived in Vaughan, York, Ontario, Canada, in 1931 and Thornhill, Vaughan, York, Ontario, Canada, in 1968. He registered for military service in 1915. In 1915, at the age of 20, his occupation was listed as a mechanical engineer. He died on 4 July 1968, in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, at the age of 73, and was buried in Atherley Cemetery, Atherley, Durham, Ontario, Canada.
