According to last night’s casualty list two members of the 18th Battalion are wounded: Private Wm. Lyon of Stratford and Private Maurice Heath of St. Thomas. The former is 22 years old, unmarried, and was employed in Stratford as a machinist. He was born in Niagara Falls, Ont., but his relatives live in Texas. In Stratford he lived at 183 Falstaff street. Private Maurice Heath joined the 18th at St. Thomas. Relatives live in England. Private Lorne Ross, of Detroit, a member of the 1st Battalion was killed in action.
