Family Search: When Private Alexander Stuart Mino was born on 27 March 1897, in Limehouse, Halton, Ontario, Canada, his father, George William Mino, was 41 and his mother, Margaret Stewart, was 42. He died on 5 April 1918, in Neuville-Vitasse, Pas-de-Calais, France, at the age of 21, and was buried in Vimy, Pas-de-Calais, France.

“Killed in Action” During operations North of Neuville Vitasse, on the morning of April 5, 1918, he was hit by shrapnel and died almost immediately.
