Family Search: When Private Robert Magee was born on 20 June 1880, in Belfast, Ireland, his father, Samuel Magee, was 32 and his mother, Isabella Hayden, was 31. He immigrated to Canada in 1913 and lived in Legoniel, Shankill, County Antrim, Ireland in 1911 and Toronto, York, Ontario, Canada in 1921. He registered for military service in 1915. In 1915, at the age of 35, his occupation is listed as labourer. He died on 19 June 1935, in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, at the age of 54, and was buried in Prospect Cemetery, Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
