SINGLETON – At Marine General Hospital, Collingwood, on Friday January 23, 1976, Alfred Singleton, in his 81st year of Wasaga Beach (Formerly of Brantford); beloved husband of Isabel Walton; predeceased by his first wife Louise (Louie) LeConte; dear father of Alfred of St. Thomas, Mrs. Eugene (Georgina) Haw, Brantford; also five grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; brother of Mrs. Lillian Allen, Brantford and Bert of Windsor. Mr. Singleton was a veteran of the First World War. Resting at Hill and Robinson Ltd. Funeral Home, Nelson and Queen Streets, until Tuesday. Service in the chapel at 2 p.m. Interment in Farringdon Burial Ground. Rev. G.R. McMechan will officiate.
