He married Myrtle Arletta Clow on 29 December 1909, in Picton, Prince Edward, Ontario, Canada. They were the parents of at least 1 daughter. He immigrated to Canada in 1887 and lived in Prince Edward, Ontario, Canada in 1901. He registered for military service in 1915. In 1915, at the age of 28, his occupation is listed as electrician in Picton, Prince Edward, Ontario, Canada. He died on 3 April 1954, in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, at the age of 67, and was buried in York Cemetery, Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
