Digitized Service Record

Source: Per news clipping posted at Facebook. The photograph indicates this soldier was serving with the 18th Battalion. His service records indicate he enlisted with the 33rd but he may have died of meningitis before he was transferred to the 18th as it was preparing to leave for England shortly before this soldier’s death. There were a number of transfers from the 33rd before the Battalion left.
