Family Search: When Private Frederick Core was born on 6 October 1892, in Forest, Lambton, Ontario, Canada, his father, George Hindle Core, was 42 and his mother, Bethany Gammon, was 38. He lived in Lambton, Ontario, Canada for about 10 years. He registered for military service in 1916. He died on 28 August 1918, in Vis-en-Artois, Pas-de-Calais, France, at the age of 25, and was buried in Pas-de-Calais, France.
