Family Search: Private Albert Ferguson was born on 5 May 1885, in Belfast, Ireland as the son of Matthew Ferguson. He immigrated to Canada in 1914. He registered for military service in 1915. In 1915, at the age of 30, his occupation is listed as ironworker. He died on 6 June 1916, in Ieper, West Flanders, Belgium, at the age of 31, and was buried in Zillebeke, Ieper, West Flanders, Belgium.
