Family Search: When Lance-Corporal Harry Hugh Jamieson was born on 16 April 1891, in Kingston Township, Frontenac, Ontario, Canada, his father, Thomas Jamieson, was 38 and his mother, Elizabeth Jamison, was 25. He married Catherine Burke on 16 January 1914, in Kingston, Frontenac, Ontario, Canada. He registered for military service in 1915. In 1915, at the age of 24, his occupation is listed as labourer. He died on 28 August 1918, in Vis-en-Artois, Pas-de-Calais, Hauts-de-France, France, at the age of 27, and was buried in Pas-de-Calais, Nord-Pas-de-Calais, France.
