Family Search: When Private Ira Ralph Allan Weeks was born on 25 May 1895, in Buffalo, Erie, New York, United States, his father, Samuel George Weeks, was 34 and his mother, Caroline “Carrie” Davis, was 29. He lived in York, Ontario, Canada, in 1901 and Middlesex, Ontario, Canada, in 1911. He registered for military service in 1915. In 1915, at the age of 20, his occupation is listed as a railway office clerk. He died on 15 October 1918, in Iwuy, Nord, France, at the age of 23, and was buried in Vimy, Pas-de-Calais, France.
