Soldier Will Recover.
Pte. Arthur J. Bacon of Ford City, an 18th Battalion veteran who went to London with the Border Cities delegation for the welcome to the battalion on Saturday, leaned from a street car window and was struck by a girder on York street bridge. He suffered very serious injuries to his head and for a time it was feared he could not recover. He is reported at the Military Hospital as progressing satisfactorily, and he is now out of danger, it is believed.
