One Real Man at the Dance.
A recruiting officer who attended a dance in Moore township to obtain recruits was turned down and finally went away. He was rewarded the next morning, however, when, as a result of his visit to the dance Arthur Butler was waiting at the door of the recruiting office to enlist. He had walked some seven miles, determined to offer his services. When questioned by the officers he stated that he had made up his mind that he for one would show the people of Moore township that there was one real man at the dance.
