MR. F. DUTTON
The cremation took place at Altrincham on Tuesday last week of Mr. Fred Dutton, aged 80, of 310A Manchester Road, Northwich. The Rev. J. R. Edwards officiated.
Prior to retiring 15 years ago, Mr. Dutton had been employed by Messrs. Brunner Mond and Co., later I.C.I. Ltd., at Winnington, as a storekeeper for 39 years.
Mr. Dutton lived in Canada for several years during which time he worked for the Canadian Railways and later joined the Canadian Army. During the First World War he served with the Infantry.
The mourners were Mrs. F. M. Dutton (wife), Mr. and Mrs. M. F. Dutton (son and daughter-in-law), Mr. and Mrs. J. T. Cragg (son-in-law and daughter), Mr. and Mrs. G. Collins, Mrs. E. Cotterill, Mrs. L. Cotterill (brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law), Mrs. M. Kenney, Mr. A. Senior and Mr. J. Hough.
There were many floral tributes and these were later distributed to local hospitals.
The arrangements were made by Mr. George Bell (Lostock Graham).
