He lived in Woodstock, Oxford, Ontario, Canada for about 6 years and Hamilton, Hamilton-Wentworth, Ontario, Canada in 1931. He registered for military service in 1916. In 1931, at the age of 34, his occupation is listed as candy maker. He died in 1987, at the age of 90, and was buried in Hillview Cemetery, Woodstock, Oxford, Ontario, Canada.
