He registered for military service in 1917. In 1944, at the age of 50, his occupation is listed as tailor in Jamaica, Queens, New York City, New York, United States. He died on 7 July 1974, at the age of 80, and was buried in Pinelawn Memorial Park, East Farmingdale, Babylon, Suffolk, New York, United States.

This man enlisted with the 1st Depot Battalion, Western Ontario Regiment at London, Ontario on 7 October 1917. He had been recruited by the British Mission, an organization that recruited soldiers for the Canadian Expeditionary Force in the United States.
At the time of attestation he was a cook following the Roman Catholic faith, though he probably practiced the Apostolic faith as he was Armenian.
He arrived in England on 6 February 1918 aboard the SS Scotian and began the next stage of his training with the 4th Canadian Reserve Battalion at Bramshott Camp.
He was transferred to the 18th Battalion effective 29 August 1918 and arrived “in the field” on 7 September 1918.
He served the rest of the war with the 18th Battalion and returned to Canada aboard the SS Caronia sailing from Liverpool on 15 May 1919.
Arriving in London, Ontario, he was demobilized due to the ending of the war on 24 May 1919.
