Family Search: When Private Gregor Alexander Keeshig was born on 1 April 1895, in Cape Croker, Neyaashiinigmiing, Bruce, Ontario, Canada, his father, John Wesley Keeshig, was 27 and his mother, Christina Lamorandiere, was 22. He married Mary Akiwenzie on 8 February 1921, in Cape Croker, Neyaashiinigmiing, Bruce, Ontario, Canada. They were the parents of at least 5 sons. He lived in Bruce, Ontario, Canada in 1911. He registered for military service in 1916. He died on 21 August 1983, in Wiarton, Bruce, Ontario, Canada, at the age of 88.
