Family Search: Private Thomas James Lynn was born on 22 October 1886, in Strathroy, Middlesex, Ontario, Canada as the son of Thomas Lynn and Anne Lynn. He immigrated to Detroit, Wayne, Michigan, United States in 1950 and lived in Toronto, York, Ontario, Canada in 1921 and Ridgetown, Kent, Ontario, Canada in 1948. He registered for military service in 1915. In 1951, at the age of 65, his occupation is listed as horse trainer in Michigan, United States. He died on 26 October 1962, in London, Ontario, Canada, at the age of 76, and was buried in Oakland Cemetery, Glencoe, Middlesex, Ontario, Canada.

This man enlisted with the 70th Battalion on 31 December 1915 at London, Ontario.

He arrived in England on 5 May 1916 and was transferred to active combat duty with the 18th Battalion, arriving with this battalion in the fall of 1916.

He served the rest of the war with the 18th and was discharged due to demobilization at London, Ontario on the 24th of May 1919.
