He lived in Bruce, Ontario, Canada in 1911 and Glammis, Bruce, Ontario, Canada in 1916. He registered for military service in 1916. In 1916, at the age of 20, his occupation is listed as farmer. He died on 18 February 1960, in Toronto, York, Ontario, Canada, at the age of 63, and was buried in Kincardine, Bruce, Ontario, Canada.
Originally enlisted with the 160th Overseas Battalion. Served in “D” Company.
