Family Search: When Private Charles Norman McLeod was born on 14 August 1887, in Cape Croker, Neyaashiinigmiing, Bruce, Ontario, Canada, his father, Joseph Joe McLeod II, was 51 and his mother, Mary Tobey, was 40. He married Rosa Lamorandiere on 3 October 1916, in Bruce, Ontario, Canada. They were the parents of at least 1 son. He lived in Bruce, Ontario, Canada in 1911. He registered for military service in 1916. He died on 7 January 1986, in London, Ontario, Canada, at the age of 98, and was buried in St. Peter’s Cemetery, London, Ontario, Canada.
