Family Search: When Sergeant John McNulty was born on 17 November 1871, in Newcastle upon Tyne, Tyne and Wear, England, United Kingdom, his father, Patrick John McNulty, was 22 and his mother, Elizabeth Lilly, was 23. He married Annie Dean in 1896. They were the parents of at least 3 sons and 3 daughters. He immigrated to Canada in 1911 and lived in Sale, Cheshire, England, United Kingdom, in 1911 and in Toronto, York, Ontario, Canada in 1921. He registered for military service in 1915. In 1915, at the age of 44, his occupation is listed as laundry marker, Parisian laundry in Toronto, York, Ontario, Canada. He died on 19 March 1936, in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, at the age of 64, and was buried in Mount Hope Catholic Cemetery, Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
