Family Search: When Captain Charles Addison Moore was born on 18 March 1887, in London, Ontario, Canada, his father, Dr. Charles Smith Moore, was 33 and his mother, Agnes Stevenson, was 29. He immigrated to Detroit, Wayne, Michigan, United States in 1914 and lived in Detroit, Wayne, Michigan, United States in 1928 and Canada in 1928. He registered for military service in 1915. In 1905, his occupation is listed as bond salesman, Murray, Mather, and Company in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. He died on 11 October 1950, in London, Ontario, Canada, at the age of 63, and was buried in Woodland Cemetery, London, Ontario, Canada.

Note that this officer joined the 18th Battalion as a supernumerary and served between November 1914 to February 1915, when he was discharged from the service. He re-enlisted and served with the 26th Battalion and earned the Military Cross.
