A former St. Catharines business man, Edward Thomas Rowdon, died suddenly last week in the Private Patients Pavilion, Toronto General Hospital, aged 65. Burial took place in Maple Cemetery. Born in England, he came to Canada and lived in St. Catharines for many years, operating a grocery business on Catherine St. until he moved to the Toronto district in 1922. He lived at Carrville Rd., Richvale, and was well known as a rose grower with the Mills Nursery, Richmond Hill. He is survived by his wife, the former Gladys Baker; four brothers and two sisters, all in St. Catharines, Percy, Sidney, Reginald and Archie Rowdon and Mrs. E. C. Hales (Nell) and Mrs. B. Tattersall (Win).
